What is counselling?

Counselling, at its very simplest, is one person listening to another. And yet something so simple has the potential to be so much more.

I believe counselling can help people learn about themselves, find answers they might have been searching for, and help them lead more fulfilled lives.


In one-to-one counselling, the trained counsellor will listen to the client talk freely about whatever they want to talk about. The counsellor is not there to give advice, or judge, or tell you what to do. They are there to give you a safe space to work things through. No problem is too big or too small to bring to counselling.
